Passkey and authentication
Everything you need to know about signing in to NitinX.
What is a passkey?
A passkey replaces your password entirely. Instead of typing a password, you use your device's built-in biometrics — fingerprint, Face ID, or a PIN — to verify it's you. It's faster, safer, and there's nothing to remember or type.
What if I lose or replace my device?
If your passkeys sync through Apple iCloud Keychain, Google Password Manager, or another password manager, you'll be able to sign in on a new device automatically. If they don't sync, tap "Reset passkey" on the sign-in page and you'll be guided through setting up a new one.
Can I use NitinX on multiple devices?
Yes — as long as your passkeys sync across them. Passkeys stored in Apple iCloud Keychain, Google Password Manager, or a third-party password manager will work on all your synced devices. A passkey that isn't synced stays on the device it was created on.
How do I reset my passkey?
On the sign-in page, tap "Reset passkey." You'll go through a quick verification step to confirm your identity, then set up a new passkey on your current device.
